Asada Tile Factory / Established in 1911
The only workshop in Kyoto that produces Kyo-kawara tiles. The factory has been creating handmade roof tiles for many years, and they still adorn the roofs of famous temples and shrines, including the restoration of historical buildings, which can only be done by hand.
