Unlike "Iroha Karuta", "Kyoto 100 Years Karuta" has "the initial letter of the store's name" instead of "Iroha" in the upper left corner of the card. On the back of the card is the name of the store and the year it was established.
The game is fun to play according to your own rules, such as hiding the year of establishment and trying to see if you can line up the cards in chronological order.
