We will be selling Hanao cords to brighten up the New Year for a limited time.

Kikunoyoshi (Nihonbashi, Osaka) is a long-established Japanese clothing accessories store that has been appointed as a supplier to the Imperial Household.
We have been purchasing Hanao cords since the brand was founded in 2017, and have been teaching us the basics of manufacturing.
Time passed, and when we closed down in 2022, we were able to purchase a small amount of high-quality Hanao.

This series is full of the unique "Kikunoyoshi" feel, using obi fabric and foil.

Additionally, we will be selling a limited edition Hanao cord made from fabric that had been lying dormant in the storehouse of Kyoto's Kata Yuzen dyeing company, Marusenko.

Choose a pair that is uniquely yours and that you will never find again.

Both the shoes and the straps are made by hand by artisans.
Therefore, there may be slight individual differences in the appearance and finish of the material.

In the unlikely event of a malfunction, we offer a 3-year warranty from the date of purchase .
We are happy to assist you with repairs and adjustments.

Kikunoyoshi/ Founded in 1949 (Showa 24)

Kikunoyoshi, which once had a store in Nihonbashi, Osaka, developed and produced the finest sandals for the Imperial Household, as well as other original products for the long-established footwear store.
Luxurious obi fabrics and foils that are difficult to reproduce today, once stored in a prestigious storehouse, are now turned into one-of-a-kind HANAO SHOES.

Marusenko Co., Ltd. / Founded in 1893 (Meiji 26)

For over 100 years since the Meiji era, this long-established Kyoto kimono dyeing shop has been carrying on the tradition of "kata-yuzen" dyeing techniques. "kata-yuzen" is a dyeing technique in which patterns are carved into washi paper coated with persimmon tannins and then used to dye the fabric.

Change the straps to create a unique look

The straps on HANAO SHOES are removable, allowing you to create your own unique style to suit the season or your mood.

The straps are not pierced and are attached to loops on sneakers, making them comfortable to wear with either tabi socks or socks.
