Kikunoyoshi / Founded over 70 years

Kikunoyoshi, which once had a store in Nihonbashi, Osaka, developed and produced the finest sandals for the Imperial Household, as well as other original products for the long-established footwear store.
We will tailor one-of-a-kind hanao cords using luxurious obi fabrics and foil that have been stored in prestigious storehouses and are now difficult to reproduce.

"HANAO SHOES" is a pair of sneakers made from the "hanao" straps that have traditionally been used for sandals and geta sandals, and are suited to modern lifestyles.
We value the background of craftsmanship and are there to support everything from everyday wear to the footwear of kimonos.

Wear it on a sunny day

The hanao straps contain cotton and a pattern, so they will lose their shape if they get wet. To ensure they last longer, we recommend removing the hanao straps on rainy days or when washing your shoes.
