KYOTO CRAFTSMAN WORKSHOP
Whole Love Kyoto hosts workshops that connect you directly with artisans in Kyoto.
We offer you the chance to experience workshops and techniques that are usually not open to the public, providing an intimate experience that only Whole Love Kyoto can deliver.
Each experience is a private session, limited to one group per day.
On the day of the workshop, a Whole Love Kyoto staff member will accompany you as a guide, providing interpretation as well.
Step away from the hustle and bustle and immerse yourself in Kyoto's craftsmanship at a relaxed pace.
Experience the techniques and philosophies cherished by artisans, and their approach to materials.
Discover a moment to quietly engage with the history and culture that lie behind it all.

Don’t be a visitor, be a neighbor.
We want participants and artisans not just to be guests and hosts, but to stand shoulder to shoulder, gazing upon traditional crafts together.
By standing beside the artisans and sharing the same perspective, we aim to restore a tangible connection to the sustainable relationships between people, and between people and nature.

A step back to Tradition
A step back to tradition.
Whole Love Kyoto reinterprets the techniques and historical depth inherited from Kyoto's traditional culture and incorporates them into products such as shoes, stoles, and brooches.
We also offer "experiences" such as workshops that connect visitors with artisans.
The starting point for all our creations is Kyoto's artisans.
In collaboration with "KYOTO T5," a research institution at Kyoto University of the Arts, we visit local sites and conduct research by directly engaging with artisans.
