Katayama Bunzaburo Shoten / Established in 1915
Katayama Bunzaburo Shoten began as a specialist in Kyo-kanoko shibori, a traditional resist-dyeing technique. Under the second-generation head, the shop expanded its focus from traditional kimono fabrics to fashion, exploring new possibilities for shibori dyeing.
Today, their signature tsukidashi-shibori technique has become a hallmark of the brand, now beautifully applied to hanao. The result is a voluminous and modern design, making their HANAO SHOES truly unique and distinctive.
