HANAO SHOES＿KYOSANADAHIMO
Sanada-himo Enami / Established in the late Warring States period
Sanada-himo is the narrowest fabric in the world. It is woven flat with warp and weft yarns. In the tea ceremony world, it is used as a secret cord, and the head of the family is indicated only by the pattern, color, and thickness of the line. In the Warring States period, it was used for various purposes, such as being attached to armor of warlords and luggage because of its sturdiness. Its special features are the soft colors, unevenness of the fabric, and its sturdiness.
