Ishikawa Urushi Studio / Established in 1884
Craftsmen at the Ishikawa Urushi Studio in Fushimi, Kyoto, apply layers of lacquer by hand. Two types are available in pairs: "Black" with layers of black lacquer and "Vermilion" with a final layer of vermilion lacquer. The spoon is made of birch and lacquered.
