Collection: KYOYUZEN

We feel that traditional handicrafts are the “beauty of Japan” to be proud of in the world and should not be lost.
HANAO SHOES_KYOYUZEN is a series of  HANAO made of Kyo Yuzen (dyeing).

There are as many as 94 different Kyo Yuzen techniques. There are “kata yuzen,” in which a pattern is engraved on a piece of Japanese paper and dyed, and “hand-painted yuzen,” in which the pattern is drawn on the fabric with a brush.

Please find your favorite HANAO textile, which is usually used for kimono.
