Collection: KYOSANADAHIMO
HANAO SHOES_KYOSANADAHIMO is a series of HANAO made of Kyo Sanada-himo (sanada braid).
Sanada-himo is woven flat with warp and weft yarns, and is said to be the narrowest fabric in the world. It has been used as a secret cord to express personal information by the color of the pattern and the thickness of the line, and because of its sturdiness, it has been attached to armor of warriors and to luggage.
Fabric Craftsman: Sanada-himo Enami (Established in the late Warring States period)
