いつもどうしているの

Hello, I'm Yuriyan.

When I was 15, I enthusiastically came to Kyoto from my hometown of Tokyo to become a maiko, and this year marks my 10th year in this city.

After achieving my lifelong dream and even becoming a geiko, I suddenly felt a bit deflated. I've since graduated and am now a university student.

It seems I can write freely about Kyoto and the geisha district here. That's a delightful prospect.

Whole Love Kyoto and KYOTO T5 are working together to increase the number of people connected to Kyoto's traditional culture.

KYOTO T5 is an abbreviation for "Kyoto Traditional Culture Innovation Research Center," an organization operated by Kyoto University of the Arts. Whole Love Kyoto collaborates with KYOTO T5 to archive Kyoto's traditional culture and sell innovative products inspired by it.

It has been eight years since our activities began. We have now connected with over 150 artisans and long-established businesses in Kyoto.
