At Whole Love Kyoto, we offer private and online workshops that connect you directly with Kyoto artisans.

We provide experiences where you can feel the techniques and philosophies that artisans have cherished, their approach to materials,
along with the history and culture behind them.

Private Workshop

A private, one-group-per-day workshop where you can experience studios and techniques normally not open to the public.

On the day, a staff member will accompany you as a guide and provide support, including interpretation.

You will quietly experience the artisans' skills, philosophies, and their approach to materials, along with their history and culture.

A step back to Tradition

A step back to tradition.

Whole Love Kyoto reinterprets the techniques and profound history passed down through Kyoto's traditional culture and incorporates them into products such as shoes, stoles, and brooches.

We also offer "experiences" such as workshops that connect people with artisans.

The starting point for all our craftsmanship is Kyoto's artisans.

In collaboration with "KYOTO T5", a research institute at Kyoto University of the Arts, we visit sites and conduct research through direct dialogue with artisans.

How can we convey the underlying techniques and values to the modern age?

How can we connect the sustainability of handicrafts to the future? We are exploring the sustainability of handicrafts in an age where mass production is not the only option.
