Cautions for use

Do not place it in the microwave oven or refrigerator. Temperature changes may cause cracking.

How to wash

Since it is made of wood, it is easy to scratch if washed too hard. Please wash gently.
Please do not soak it in water for a long time. Wash it immediately after use, as prolonged exposure to water may cause mold.

For a little night of luxury for yourself.

ICE CREAM GIFT is a product created by focusing on the beautiful shape of the wooden spoons that come with most ice cream products on the market in Japan. It was born from the encounter between the OLD of "traditional craft" and the NEW of "ice cream spoon". Enjoy it as an ice cream spoon for yourself on a special luxurious evening or as a gift.

Spoons to see, touch and enjoy

The ICE CREAM GIFT Kashi-Kigata comes in four designs: cherry blossom, maple tree, roses, and plover. All designs are auspicious and are used in the actual Kashi-Kigata.

The material is cherry wood, which is also used for the original Kashi-Kigata. Cherry wood is hard and water-resistant, and when polished, it becomes shiny and pleasant to the touch. Please enjoy the difference from birch spoons and find your favorite one and touch it.

ICE CREAM GIFT_KASHIKIGATA

Taniguchi Sculpture Craft / Established in 2018

In the early days, many Kashi-Kigata were made in Kyoto, but today there is no single Kashi-Kigata craftsman and only a few craftsmen in the whole country who make Kashi-Kigata.

In such a situation, Mr. Tomohiko Taniguchi of Taniguchi Sculpture and Crafts became interested in wooden molds and started making them a few years ago, utilizing the woodworking skills he has cultivated for decades by making danjiri and other crafts. The ICE CREAM GIFT of this Kashi-Kigata is made in collaboration with Mr. Taniguchi.
